Hartmon Maple Syrup Festival
Last Thursday we went to the Hartmon Nature Reserve for their story time. The focus of this month was on Maple Trees and the syrup they make. So we played around inside for a few minutes before the story time. Then we got to go outside gather our own sap from the trees and bring it back to the sugar shack. After that we got to eat some ice cream with maple syrup on it. Yum!

This looks like so much fun! Is it close by?
How cool is that?! It totally makes me want to learn how to make maple syrup so I can make it with my family.
