New Skills

We have some new skills at our house.  Eli has learned how to climb up a door-way.  (Morgan can do it too.)  Josh isn't able to go too high yet, but he managed to balance in the doorway too.

Also, this morning Noelle was pushing a chair around and walking with it. That reminded me that we have a little toy made specifically for that purpose. So I got it out of the basement for Noelle to play around with. She hasn't figured out how to walk with it yet, but I'm sure that will happen any day.

Fun in Nauvoo

Josh is ready for lunch.

Noelle is getting good at drinking from a sippy cup.

We went to Nauvoo on Saturday and had a great time. We left early enough so we could eat lunch and play at a park before we dropped the kids off at the babysitters. Eli and Josh had fun doing flips on the playground. Morgan joined in the fun, too.

Noelle loves to Read Books
Now that I have played a little bit of catch-up I will try to do better. I realized that I need to take more day-to-day pictures of the kids and post what is happening in our lives. I'll work on that.

Eli's Sentences

Eli likes to write sentences at school. He also likes to plan his birthday party (in July). Here is an example of his work. I think he does pretty good work.

I am going to have a ninja prd. The ninja prd is going to have a peyidu. We are going to bust it wif are bids me and my mom are going to mace a ninja cac.

Translation:
I am going to have a ninja party. The ninja party is going to have a pinata. We are going to bust it with our bodies. Me and my mom are going to make a ninja cake.

It's About The Love

I have come up with a new motto I want to live by, "It's About the Love."

I was speaking with a friend of mine. Her son and daughter-in-law live with them now and just had a new baby.  I asked if anyone had brought meals over and she said they hadn't...they didn't need any meals. This was true, there were four adults in the home beside the new mother. I told Lucinda that it wasn't about the food, that it was about the love and that I would call Heidi and bring a meal to them that week.

I realized that it is important for me to do things so that others can feel love. It doesn't matter if they need something per se, but whether it will help them feel love. I need to be less selfish and do more good things for other people. So I have taken my new motto and I'm going to run with it.

We have had some really nice weather lately. The boys love to ride their bikes and do tricks.

Noelle's favorite game is Empty the Container

Here are my three sweethearts. I'm sure glad to be their mom.

Dancing

Eli turned some music on Oma's computer. Then he started dancing in the living room. I hear him saying, "Josh, look at my booty dancing. My booty is dancing."

I have to admit, he is a pretty good dancer.
