Cub Scouts, Valentine's and Date Night

Eli was very close to receiving his next advancement in Cub Scouts, but he needed to complete a couple of tasks. One of those was to plan and cook an outdoor meal. It was winter, but we still did it. Morgan got out the grill, Eli planned our menu and they made a great bratwurst dinner for everyone.

Morgan and I got to go to a Grin and Grow preschool fundraiser for a date night that month. The fundraiser always has a theme and you can dress up. The theme this year was storybooks. So we dressed up as Islanders. We could be Swiss Family Robinson, the family from Lilo and Stitch or any other island story you can come up with. (I just wanted an excuse to wear our sweet Marshallese clothing.)

For Valentine's Day Noelle and I made a cranberry pie. We decorated it with heart and flower pie dough cut outs.

The kids LOVE to get on the computer.
