Camping, Graduation and Prayer

The first weekend of May Morgan had to go to Chicago for the annual business trip/strategic planning for his law firm. Luckily I did not have to be home alone with the kids because the Lasley's were getting together at Bear Creek Camp to celebrate Pete's Graduation from Vet School.

The camp was awesome, there was a big lodge with a full-sized kitchen (and flush toilets). There were cabins with 12 bunks in each. Eli and Josh loved climbing on the bunks. There was even a fun little stream.

Eli and Josh loved playing with their Oma and Opa, Aunts and Uncles. Beth and Wade came from Utah and Amy came from Michigan.

Josh was resting on a bunk.

Noelle was pretty good considering everything!

Eli wanted a picture taken of him on the bunk too.
Pete held a graduation party with yummy food from Hickory Hills and then an open reception with rootbeer floats and other goodies. Noelle had a fun time being outside all of the time.

Noelle is reading her cousin Anne's book.

Eli got a toy from McD's and had to show it off. (Josh got one too but lost it at this park)

Oma and Opa gave Noelle her first birthday present.

A fun bus with shapes! She loves pulling the shapes out, but hasn't figured out how to put them back in yet.

She also got a bunch of board books from Oma and Opa.

Finally, Noelle has learned how to fold her arms during prayers. She usually bows her head too, although I am sure that she doesn't close her eyes yet. Eli and Josh sure don't!  We are just excited to see her growing up and learning so much!
