Going to the Zoo!

As part of our visit with Matthew and Alisha we went to the Zoo in Columbia. Eli really enjoyed it, he especially loved hanging out with his cousins (holding their hands and and being with them every moment.). The zoo also had a botanical garden area, which was just beautiful. It would have been nice to go there in the Fall when the weather wasn't so humid, but that is life.
Anyway, here are some pictures from our trip to the zoo.

Little flowers (Josh needed to be in the picture too.)

Eli was given some birthday money by his Grandma and Grandpa and we decided to let him take it in our vacation so he could buy some souvenir's. He really wanted to buy this snake, even though it was obviously overpriced. I tried to talk him into a bag of African animals for the same price, but this is what he wanted, so this is what he got.
Josh and Morgan checking out the moon jellyfish.
We were looking in an aquarium when all of this sea turtle swam down from the top, we didn't know he was there, and all of the sudden he popped out of nowhere.
Josh was really interested in the alligators.
Morgan and Eli with the flamingos.
Melissa and Eli with lions behind us. We wanted to see tigers too, but they were hiding out.
Eli wasn't so sure about this statue at first.
Josh slept through much of the zoo.
Eli got to feed the giraffes some lettuce!
