Eli is accident prone. He is always falling down, getting scrapes, etc. We made it to Matthew and Alisha's house Thursday evening and Eli was running up because he wanted to ring the doorbell. He started climbing up a little bench next to the door (which there was no reason to, because he could reach the doorbell just standing up). He fell down, with the bench and hit his face on the entryway. We have no idea what exactly happened, but he had a large gash on his gum under his bottom teeth. It was bleeding pretty badly, I was worried about his teeth but they are all okay. Anyway Morgan and Alisha took Eli to an Urgent Care while I watched Josh and the girls.
They came home with this lovely teddy bear and Eli had one stitch in his mouth. I'm glad we took him, just to make sure that everything was alright. His mouth his doing well and healing fine. They did give an antibiotic for him, just as a precaution. Anyway, we're all good!
