I need help!

Hi,

So Morgan and I are pretty sure that we are going to get Eli some sort of train set for Christmas. The problem is that I have no idea what way to go! I'd really like to get something simple that many brands would be able to work on, but I have no clue. Any ideas? What have you found is best?

Thanks for the help!

We went with Imaginarium- the Toys R Us brand. Just wait and watch and you can get a great price. We just buy wooden Thomas trains to go with. It's nice to have a train table too. We didn't use ours near as much before we got the table last year at Stuff, Etc.

I would vote some sort of Thoams set too. They tend to be kind of pricey but for the most part the are interchangeable with different trains. (As long as you stick with the same size train=)
hope that helps

We have the Imaginarium set, too, and it's awesome. Way cheaper than the others I've seen. And I'm way too cheap to buy ANYTHING Thomas. The Imaginarium sets are durable and awesome and cost 50% less than the Thomas ones. Warren doesn't even like his track, he just likes to hook as many trains together. I was able to buy more trains and just a small track set and he loves it. Check it:

We got a set from the toy store at the Williamsburg outlets about 2-3 years ago that was $30 for a nice size set. Don't know the brand or if the store is still there, but it was a good price. Good luck!

Hey Melissa,

I here the Geo Track is a lot of fun some kids around here have them and they are simple to use. When Emma has gone to there house she loves them and she know how to use it. But if your not looking for the best is the wooden train sets. Which are a lot of fun also.

We have Geotracks. The boys really enjoy it. It is a bit expensive and takes up alot of room. It is also hard to find new track/pieces to. I think if I did it again I would go with a wood set.
