Happy 8th Birthday Josh!

Joshua wanted us to give him $50.00 for his birthday. That way he could add it to his own savings and have $100.00 for a kayak. (If Josh and Eli saved 100, then mom and dad would pay the rest for them to have a kayak.)

Well, Morgan was actually out of town for Josh's b-day but was coming home Friday night from Des Moines. Friday I noticed on Cedar Rapids craigslist a sweet little kayak...exactly what we wanted. I was able to email the couple selling it, as well as Morgan and we were first on the list.

Morgan had to take the long way home from Des Moines, but stopped in C.R. and bought this sweet kayak for Josh's birthday.
