The first week of August we went down to Chillicothe for the first Lasley Family Reunion. Most of the siblings were able to come, and we had a great time.
Playing games.
Kayaking on the river.
Noelle found a little frog.
Group Shot
How we normally look.
Morgan and Jet won the game of Bunko (and shared their winnings - soda- with everyone.)
Blob Tag.
Morgan and Jet also won the wheelbarrow race.
How did they do that? (Jet's not touching the ground.)
Noelle and Allison did their best.
The ice bucket challenge - picking up marbles with your toes.
Cutting down limbs.
The wet, dirty grandkids.

Parade of Homes
A couple of weeks ago Morgan and I went to the Cedar Valley Parade of Homes. Most of the homes were nice, but nothing special. We ended up having a little more time then I thought we would, so we went to one last house that we weren't planning on.
I am glad we did. It was AMAZING! I wish that I took more pictures of the house. The house was a 1-story home that had a custom addition and remodel done to it. There was nothing in that house that wasn't jaw-dropping. - Although I told Morgan that it was more the type of place I would like to rent for a week, than live in forever.
The dining nook - benches on 2 sides.
A U-shape kitchen island.
The master bathroom - there were vanities on both sides of the room.
The master closet - bigger than Eli & Josh's room. (It also had a washer and dryer in it.)
Sweet deck (it was raining, sorry for the poor shot.)
Kids play room - you can see on the right the floor to ceiling windows - that side of the main floor was completely full of those windows. The backyard was wooded and very private. It was breath-taking.

Minute to Win It, Church Activity
We had a fun little church activity with lots of "Minute to Win It" Games. Morgan was called up on the stage to try to get ping pong balls out of a tissue box. It did not turn out so well.
Women's Weekend at the Lake
In August I wend to Holiday Lake for a wonderful women's retreat. We ate great food, stayed up late, played games, and enjoyed swimming in the lake. Lot's of fun hanging out with my friends.
This isn't me in the paddle boat, but I got to do it for the first time in recent memory. :)
