So if you read my blog regularly you would have noticed that I did not post anything from September 13th or so until last week when I started slowly posting again.
The truth of the matter is that I was just too darn sick to want to post anything, and I felt that any posts I made would be lies because I wouldn't be telling you how completely exhausted, nauseous and utterly wasted I felt.
But today I went to the doctor and they confirmed that I have a growth in my uterus. It is fast growing but they are unable to safely facilitate its removal until it has reached it maximum capacity, somewhere around May 14th. It even has a heart beat.
Yes, Sacajawea (our code name) is officially announced and we are very excited. No, we don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet, but we will find that out sometime in January.
Hoo-rah!

Uncle Dan came to visit us this weekend and Eli and Josh were over the moon! They could not get enough of him.
Morgan has had a good time with Gordon too. Saturday they went to an Elder's Quorum activity together, got to shoot a lot of different guns and then have a bonfire with hotdogs. Morgan took today (Monday) of work and they are bike riding together all morning and then will disc golf all afternoon. Horray for Family!
Carving a Pumpkin
Eli got to go to a pumpkin patch for a pre-school field trip and brought home a little pumpkin. He was a little confused and thought that when we opened the pumpkin there would be toys inside of it. I'm not exactly sure what they taught him that day.
Anyway, we convinced him that there would be seeds inside and that we could cook them. So Friday night after dinner Morgan and the boys cleaned and carved the pumpkin. Eli wasn't even disappointed that there were no toys, he was just excited to have his own jack-o-lantern.

Golfing
Joshua is really into golfing. And ANYTHING will work for the ball or the club.
J is also really into his tricycle. If he ever speaks to you most likely he will say, "I ride my trike without training wheels." He has to say that at least 30 times a day. He'll climb into my bed first thing in the morning and tell me about riding his trike. On the phone with Grandma, he lets her know he rides his trike without training wheels. Crazy kid. :0)

Funny
Last night Morgan went to Cedar Rapids for a seminary teacher training meeting. During the meeting the teachers were talking about what they had done in class, etc.
One teacher said, "I know I should not have done this, but I let my class watch the entire film, Emma's Story."
The Seminary person leading the meeting points at them and says, "You're fired!"
Morgan raises his hand and says, "I let my class watch it twice!"
I'm glad my man has a sense of humor!
